We're now seeking an exceptional sales leader to join our team as the Director of Sales for the Pacific Northwest Region - Washington.

About the Role

As the Director of Sales for the Pacific Northwest Region, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and developing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets. Reporting to the Senior Director Regional Sales, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a sales team to deliver outstanding customer service, cultivating lasting relationships with customers, and staying ahead of emerging trends in the medical technology industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Planning: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets, assess costs and competition, and identify key markets.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to improve customer service, grow customer loyalty, and drive sales growth.

Customer Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers to understand their business needs and goals, and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Sales Performance Management: Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives, track progress, and provide regular sales performance updates.

Sales Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed and accurate sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to inform sales strategies and optimize sales performance.

Market Analysis: Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices, estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products, and stay up-to-date on emerging trends.

Sales Training and Development: Establish and lead a sales training program to onboard new employees, enhance sales skills, and promote product knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

Experience: A minimum of 7 years' experience in sales management, with 10+ years' experience in director or outside sales.

Marketing Techniques: In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.

Sales Skills: Strong prospecting skills, excellent closing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.

Communication and Leadership: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with excellent negotiation and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Industry Experience: Experience in the medical technology or ophthalmic industry.

Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP).
