Why This Role Matters As the Director of Experience Design – Customer Success Solutions, you will shape the strategic vision and day‑to‑day execution of all design initiatives that touch our Customer Success ecosystem. This includes the arenaflex Assistant, the Agent Experience suite, and the Account & Subscription Management platform. Your leadership will directly influence how quickly agents resolve tickets, how easily customers manage their accounts, and how effectively we retain and renew subscriptions. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision - Define and evangelize a holistic design strategy for all Customer Success digital solutions, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and brand alignment across the arenaflex Assistant, agent portals, and subscription workflows. - Collaborate with senior product managers, engineering leads, data scientists, and other design directors to translate business objectives into compelling, measurable user experiences. - Champion user‑centered design practices by integrating qualitative insights (user interviews, field studies) with quantitative data (analytics, A/B testing) to iterate rapidly and responsibly. Team Development & Mentorship - Lead, inspire, and grow a multidisciplinary team of experience designers, interaction designers, and visual designers, fostering a collaborative environment where bold ideas thrive. - Implement regular design reviews, design‑ops rituals, and skill‑building workshops that elevate craftsmanship and promote continuous learning. - Set clear performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and create individualized development plans that align with both personal ambitions and arenaflex’s strategic goals. Execution & Delivery - Oversee end‑to‑end design delivery for the Agent Experience, Customer Success platform, and Account & Subscription Management systems, ensuring products ship on schedule and meet high standards of usability. - Guide the creation and maintenance of a scalable design system that enforces visual, interaction, and accessibility guidelines across all touchpoints. - Conduct usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and accessibility audits; translate findings into actionable design improvements. Innovation & Thought Leadership - Stay ahead of emerging trends in conversational UI (e.g., voice assistants, chatbots, multimodal interfaces) and evaluate their relevance to arenaflex’s product suite. - Prototype and validate next‑generation interaction models, leveraging AI, natural language processing, and contextual data to create more intuitive agent and customer experiences. - Represent arenaflex at industry conferences, webinars, and design meet‑ups, sharing best practices and positioning the company as a leader in experience design. Essential Qualifications - Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in experience design, with at least 6 years leading design teams in fast‑paced, product‑focused environments. - Domain Expertise: Proven track record designing Customer Success solutions, conversational UI (chatbots, voice assistants), and complex, data‑driven applications such as account management and subscription workflows. - Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to mentor designers, drive cross‑functional consensus, and champion user‑centric outcomes. - Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication, capable of articulating design rationale to executives, engineers, marketers, and support teams. - Design Systems: Experience building and scaling design systems that ensure visual and interaction consistency across multiple platforms. - Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with quantitative metrics (conversion rates, NPS, task success) and translating them into qualitative improvements.
