About the position
Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a Digital Records Archivist (Remote) to manage digital archives, maintain long-term records, and support compliance with document retention policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in digital records systems.
This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate with team members effectively.
Responsibilities
• Organize, catalog, and maintain digital archive records.
• Ensure accurate metadata and document classification.
• Provide internal teams with archival document access when needed.
• Assist in the preparation of archival reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with retention policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits and document verification processes.
• Collaborate with records management, compliance, and IT teams.
• Ensure archival procedures align with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in digital records management or archiving.
• Proficiency in digital recordkeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in government contracting or defense-related archives.
• Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS).
