Job Description As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Disney+ Product teams to analyze and integrate data, as well as provide support for quantitative and qualitative analysis initiatives for key partners. The primary areas of responsibility for this role focus on Disney+ Product and Consumer Experience tracking programs. Key Responsibilities: Assist with a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis activities, including collection and planning of data, extraction and analysis of data from various sources to build charts, tables, and report segments Combine multiple datasets using SQL to aid in the daily operations of the Disney+ client experience tracking project Collaborate with different teams to conduct research at Disney, including communicating project goals, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently prioritize, develop, and improve our datasets Build and maintain relationships with research partners within the team and from other divisions of the company, as well as outside vendors Analyze and design ongoing and ad-hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within the product marketing, engagement, and product strategy of Disney+ and the Disney Streaming Pack Manage assigned projects, implement quality assurance cycles, and report assignments and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timeframes Work with the Sr. Manager and team, ensuring that each outcome is decisively significant and drives key direction Collaborate with the team and analysis groups within Snowflake and Databricks Maintain both exceptional verbal and written knowledge of data elements and requirements Respond to critical data requests from internal clients Support the display of findings based on analysis conducted and contribute to related business discussions Stay at the forefront of SVOD and In-Home industry trends in the midst of a continually evolving landscape Essential Qualifications: Four-year college degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or related field and 3 years of relevant work experience OR Graduate degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or related field and 1 year of relevant work experience Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to concentrate and consolidate unique data sources Ability to extract data and join with different data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the business Strong quantitative thinking and analytical skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-speed environment Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to work effectively in an environment of tight timeframes and constant change Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in data processing tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight) Experience with survey tools (e.g., Interpret, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Experience with R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages Postgraduate education in Marketing Research or Statistics Quantitative analysis background, either provider-side or client-side Experience with analyzing survey data to extract meaningful insights Experience with membership-based business models and strategy Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At The Walt Disney Organization, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits The recruiting range for this position in Burbank, CA is $93,400 to $125,200 per year. The base compensation offered will consider internal value and may vary depending on the applicant's geographic location, work-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus or long-term incentive units may be given as part of the pay package, in addition to the full range of clinical, financial, and other benefits.
