From the Start Nutrition, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our team as a contract, per diem professional specializing in pediatric and family nutrition. As a Contract Pediatric and Family Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of bright and experienced professionals, providing expert nutrition counseling and education to children and families. Key Responsibilities
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to children and families, with training and mentorship provided as needed
- Assist in developing personalized meal plans and strategies for improving family nutrition
- Conduct one-on-one consultations via telehealth, ensuring comprehensive care for clients
- Create and present educational workshops on pediatric and family nutrition topics, promoting healthy eating habits and supporting families in achieving their nutritional goals
- Collaborate with our team to ensure comprehensive care for clients, maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress
- Contribute to practice growth by attracting new clients through networking and community outreach, and assist in developing marketing strategies to expand our client base
- Attend monthly to bi-monthly meetings, helping to generate ideas to grow the company and staying up-to-date on best practices in pediatric and family nutrition
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- State licensure, if required where you live
- A passion for pediatric and family nutrition, with knowledge of Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, and general health and wellness
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both children and adults
- A willingness to learn and apply motivational interviewing techniques
- Comfort with technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic records systems
- Enthusiasm for networking and building client relationships
Preferred qualifications include:
- A Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field, or be in the process of completing a Master's degree
- Experience working with children and families, although training and mentorship will be provided for entry-level practitioners

Compensation and Benefits
