Having said that… OUR CORE VALUES WORK HARD & HAVE FUN DOING IT OWN IT FAITH FAMILIES FIRST GROWTH-DRIVEN MINDSET Summary of Responsibilities Inventorying, packing, and cleaning of contents damaged by water, smoke and/or fire while demonstrating respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Conduct thorough inspections of damaged contents and personal property in residential and commercial settings and identify which items are salvageable. - Document items, conditions, and restoration progress using company software. - Safely and efficiently clean, pack, transport, and store contents, ensuring proper care and handling of valuable and sentimental items. - Utilize appropriate cleaning and restoration techniques to restore items to their pre-loss condition, including cleaning, deodorizing, and repairing as needed. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. - Collaborate with the restoration team to ensure a seamless and efficient restoration process. - Always practice good housekeeping to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite. - Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may be affecting completion of the job to the team leader. - Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Skills and Experience To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Education and/or Experience – High School or GED diploma - Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. - Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure for basic algebraic and geometric calculations. - Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. - Computer Skills – Knowledge of computer software. Must he be able to update the status of content projects. - Communication Skills – Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English. - Vision – Ability to view documents, multiple screens, and read handwritten documents. - Possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record. - Must be able to work using cleaning chemicals.
