Position Summary:
The Content Creator Intern will support IMG Academy’s marketing and social media teams by ideating, producing, and editing content that highlights the student-athlete and camper experience, campus life, training moments, and brand initiatives. This role is designed for a creative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong sense for storytelling, and understands what performs well on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels.
You’ll work hands-on with athletes, coaches, creative staff, and brand stakeholders to create engaging, high-impact content that strengthens IMG Academy’s digital presence.
Position Responsibilities:
Content Production & Capture
• Film day-in-the-life, behind-the-scenes, training sessions, and campus culture content.
• Capture video and photo content at practices, games, events, and across campus.
• Work directly with student-athletes and teams to tell authentic, compelling stories.
• Assist in coordinating shoots, including scheduling, equipment needs, and logistics.
Editing & Post-Production
• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and other social channels.
• Organize and catalog content in IMG Academy’s digital asset management systems.
• Deliver quick-turn edits for real-time posting during high-energy events.
Creative & Strategy
• Pitch social content ideas that align with platform trends and brand goals.
• Support campaigns for camps, teams, recruiting services, events, and brand partnerships.
• Collaborate with creative, brand, and social teams to maintain consistent style and voice.
Cross-Team Collaboration
• Work with coaches, athletes, sports marketing, and campus staff to identify stories worth capturing.
• Support content needs for IMG Academy+ digital initiatives and recruiting ecosystems (NCSA & SportsRecruits), as appropriate.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Current student pursuing a degree in communications, digital media, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
• Strong experience with short-form video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to capture clean, high-quality photo or video using a camera or phone.
• Understanding of social media trends and sports culture.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, or early mornings as needed for events.
• Creative mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience creating high-engagement TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts, or long-form YouTube videos.
• Familiarity with sports performance environments and student-athlete storytelling.
• Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Canva, or Illustrator).
• Prior experience working in collegiate, professional, or youth sports environments
