MissionHires is seeking a Construction Project Manager for our construction client in Raleigh, NC to lead $10M+ commercial and multifamily projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of C&I or multifamily experience, a background with General Contractors, and is hands-on with contracts, buyouts, RFIs, submittals, and project engineer oversight. You will manage projects from planning through close-out, coordinating internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring documentation accuracy and communication flow through Procore (or similar), and maintaining alignment with GC processes and expectations across Triangle-area builds.
How You'll Contribute
• Lead and manage $10M+ commercial and multifamily projects from start through close‑out
• Own contract writing, buyouts, and vendor/subcontractor administration
• Oversee and mentor project engineers; coordinate cross-functional internal teams
• Manage and track RFIs and submittals to ensure timely resolution and compliance
• Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications as needed
• Maintain documentation and communication flow within Procore or similar construction management software
• Coordinate with GC stakeholders, subs, and suppliers to keep schedule, scope, and budget aligned
• Support lifecycle activities including planning, execution, and close-out documentation
• Monitor project risks, quality, and safety in alignment with GC standards
• Report progress, issues, and changes to leadership and project stakeholders
What Makes You a Great Fit
• 5+ years of experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) or Multifamily construction
• Proven experience working for a General Contractor (GC)
• Background as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer
• Demonstrated experience writing contracts and managing buyouts
• Hands-on experience managing RFIs and submittals
• Experience supporting or managing projects of $10M+ in value
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction/project management software
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications (preferred)
• Experience managing full project lifecycle from planning to close-out (preferred)
• Based in or able to work in the Raleigh, NC (Triangle) area
