About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate TESOL teacher to join our team. As a Citywide Bilingual TESOL Teacher (Gr. K-12), you will be responsible for teaching district-approved curriculum, planning engaging lessons, and creating a supportive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth. You will work with students from grades K-12, helping them develop their language skills and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach district-approved curriculum to students from grades K-12
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth
• Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student learning and well-being

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid Connecticut Teaching Certificate and TESOL certification
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
