Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a remote position. This role offers a unique opportunity to support outreach efforts in various clinical programs, such as medication adherence and medication therapy management. The position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in a call center and retail pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities
• Conduct phone outreach to members, pharmacies, and provider offices to support clinical programs.
• Determine appropriateness for medications and communicate decisions to physicians and pharmacy staff.
• Research, resolve, and document clinical outcomes in the pharmacy system.
• Communicate pharmacist's clinical recommendations to relevant parties.
• Escalate requests to a pharmacist when necessary.
• Monitor telephone system to ensure adequate staffing and maintain client service levels.
• Assess training needs within the team and serve as a training resource, mentor, and coach.
• Identify and share best practices to promote a positive team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High School diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED.
• Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician.
• Previous experience in call center customer service and retail pharmacy.
• Experience working with highly confidential medical information.
• Fluency in another language, such as Spanish, is preferred.
• Suitable home office setup, including chair, desk, and reliable internet.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with a professional demeanor and empathy.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and system operations, including workflow processes and case management.
• Knowledge of government programs such as Medicare is beneficial.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST / 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST
Benefits
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19 to $21 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
