Job Summary:
- Teach high school science classes, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, sharing best practices and expertise to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in staff development and professional growth activities, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and technologies
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Valid teaching certification in General Science (034) for grades 7-12
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of educational philosophy, teaching methods, and best practices in science education
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse student populations
