Role Overview
We are looking for a Celebrity Partnerships Manager to lead collaborations between Written.app and high-profile talent in the US market. This role sits at the intersection of publishing, entertainment, and creative production.
You will identify, approach, and develop partnerships with celebrities interested in literary and storytelling projects — from books and essays to audiobooks, illustrations, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and prioritize relevant celebrities, creators, and public figures with literary potential or interest
• Develop and pitch partnership concepts in collaboration with Written’s editorial and creative teams
• Initiate outreach to celebrities, agents, and managers
• Lead negotiations and structure partnership deals
• Manage ongoing relationships and communication with talent and their representatives
• Oversee projects from concept to launch in coordination with internal teams
• Spot new formats and opportunities (e.g., prefaces, curated series, audiobooks, illustrated editions, serialized content)
Requirements
• Proven experience working with celebrities or high-profile talent in the US market, ideally at the intersection of publishing, media, or entertainment
• Strong network of agents, managers, or industry contacts is highly preferred
• Experience in deal‑making, negotiations, and partnership management
• Excellent communication and pitching skills
• Self‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
Nice to Have
• Background in publishing, literary agencies, media companies, or talent management
• Track record of launching or managing celebrity‑led content projects
Compensation
• Competitive package, including up to 10% revenue share per project
