This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the People & Places (PPL) leadership team in shaping the HR technology strategy, operating model, and multi-year roadmap across the PPL technology ecosystem.
This role focuses on system-level analysis, capability mapping, and strategic decision frameworks, rather than day-to-day system administration or technical delivery execution.
The ideal candidate will work with minimal supervision, exercising strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to translate People strategy and leadership priorities into technology implications, trade-offs, and actionable roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document the current People technology landscape, including systems of record, workflow platforms, intelligence services, and experience layers
- Partner with PPL leadership to develop and refine a multi‑year PPL tech stack strategy and roadmap aligned to enterprise architecture and People strategy
- Define capability‑based frameworks to guide buy, build, and extend decisions across HR systems
- Identify fragmentation, redundancy, governance gaps, and opportunities for consolidation or intentional differentiation
- Produce executive‑ready artifacts (maps, decision frameworks, roadmaps) to support alignment with PPL LT and cross‑functional partners
- Act as a strategic partner to Solution Design and Product teams, without owning engineering delivery
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Technology Strategy Analyst
- Experience analyzing HR technology ecosystems and enterprise platforms
- Strong ability to map capabilities, systems, and operating models
- Experience developing technology roadmaps and strategic frameworks
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to translate business strategy into technology implications
Must-Have Skills
- Senior-level experience in HR technology strategy and roadmap development.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, architecture, and operating model design.
- Ability to synthesize complex or ambiguous information and communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HRIS ecosystems (Workday), enterprise people systems, and modern product / experience platforms is helpful. No hands‑on configuration required.
- Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- No hands‑on system configuration or administration
- No software development or coding
- No vendor contracting or delivery ownership.
The role reports to a senior PPL leader and is expected to operate independently, synthesize complex inputs, and provide strategic guidance that informs leadership decision‑making.
