Business Development Consultant (Medical Device / AI) – Lead Gen + Conferences - Contract to Hire

We’re building Cira Health, an AI solution for medical device companies that helps automate risk analysis and regulatory workflows. In addition to the core product, we also provide custom AI solutions to improve efficiency across QA/RA and operations teams. We’re looking for someone who is already active in the medical device / regulatory / quality space and can help us get in front of the right people. This role is focused on opening doors and creating real opportunities — through your network, outreach, and conference presence. What you’ll be doing You’ll help us generate qualified intro calls with medical device companies, QA/RA teams, and consultancies — ideally through warm introductions or targeted outreach. You may also attend relevant conferences and represent Cira Health in conversations, helping identify potential use cases and capturing leads. We’ll work closely with you to align on messaging, target personas, and follow-ups — you won’t be doing this alone. What we’re looking for You have experience in the medical device / QA / RA space and are comfortable talking to teams about their workflows and challenges. You likely already have some network in the industry or regularly attend conferences. Most importantly, you know how to turn conversations into real opportunities. Compensation We offer a mix of base + performance-based incentives: Base payment (monthly or hourly, depending on availability) Bonus per qualified intro call Commission on closed deals (product or custom AI solutions) Conference expenses covered (as needed) We’re starting with a 3-month engagement, with the potential to continue long-term if it’s a good fit.
