Advanced Electric Systems is a trusted leader in electrical contracting, seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. The role involves collaborating with various departments to analyze complex business operations and provide recommendations to align business functions with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Participate in business analysis activities to drive key business decisions and translate them into specific technical requirements
- Develop and standardize programs to automate processes within different business units, enhancing efficiency
- Present fully vetted initiatives with accurate due diligence and risk assessment
- Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain a financial reporting structure within the company using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Power Automate
- Create apps and reporting systems for forecasting future financial data and productivity
- Evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
- Enhance existing reporting and analytics by gathering user feedback and incorporating it to redesign, improve, merge, or add new content into existing BI reports
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive business results
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting its values and expertise in the electrical contracting sector

- 1-4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Certificate in Data Analytics, Data Management, or equivalent certificate, preferred
