They are seeking a Billing Specialist to join their corporate office team, responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring accurate billing processes.
Responsibilities
- Posting payments to client accounts
- Reconciling deposits
- Managing client accounts by sending monthly client statements and invoices
- Data entry and maintaining tracking reports for employer-related services
- Point of contact regarding client account questions, internally and externally
- Assisting other back-office personnel as needed
- Maintaining referral source tracking reports
- Fill medical records requests in a timely manner
- Working with the Billing Team to maintain accurate client accounts
Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience in billing, accounts receivable, and/or medical claims
- Knowledge of insurance claims to determine patient financial responsibility
- Experience with medical coding
- Proficient in reconciliation of data
- Experience in customer service communication
- Experience with EMR software, Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Office
