About the Role As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer care to our clients' customers through various channels, including inbound phone calls, chat messages, and emails. Your primary goal will be to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for every interaction. Key Responsibilities: Respond to inbound customer calls, chats, and emails in a professional and courteous manner Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective way Provide accurate and helpful information to customers regarding products and services Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex customer issues Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in a remote work environment Meet and exceed performance metrics and client expectations Schedule and Earnings The majority of work hours are scheduled during weekdays and daytime, with the flexibility to create a schedule that works best for you. As a contractor, your earnings will vary by client, with rates ranging from $14 to $20 per hour. Your pay will be determined by your phone call status when assisting customers, and additional incentives are available based on client and performance metrics. Required Skills for Success: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proven track record in customer service and delivering outstanding customer care Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills Friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful mindset Proficient in using technology, including computer applications and software Technology and Equipment Requirements To ensure seamless connectivity and high-quality customer interactions, you will need to meet the following technology and equipment requirements: Quiet and secure work environment during working hours Personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted) Wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed Operating system of Windows 10 or Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS) Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed Smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad is required for program work, along with an authentication app Work Environment Requirements: Quiet, uninterrupted space Organized desk area Home Office Locations Please note that the following locations are not approved for home office work: Alaska Allenspark, Colorado California Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado Connecticut Delaware Denver, Colorado Edgewater, Colorado Eldora, Colorado Eldorado Springs, Colorado Flagstaff, Arizona Gold Hill, Colorado Gunbarrel, Colorado Hawaii Hygiene, Colorado Illinois Michigan Maine Massachusetts Maryland Minneapolis, Minnesota New Jersey New York Niwot, Colorado Oregon Rhode Island St. Paul, Minnesota Tucson, Arizona Virginia Vermont Washington Washington DC Contractual Relationship As an independent contractor at blithequark, you will remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment. blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with blithequark. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against blithequark for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker’s compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
