About the Role We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a remote customer service representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and solutions to our customers, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and service. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Answering inbound phone calls and providing a high-quality patient/caller experience Reviewing patient liability questions and concerns Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments Performing referral coordination, including completing Open Referrals and/or referral tracking queue Working all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, according to department standards, and documenting all actions in the system Registering new patients, verifying patient demographics and health insurance, and updating patient information in designated databases Responding to general information requests and/or inquiries from patients, physicians, medical offices, and other callers Communicating effectively and professionally with all stakeholders Processing all work-related responsibilities in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner Other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years of age or older At least 1 year of experience in a call center, answering customer service inquiries regarding healthcare Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications Ability to work any 8-hour work shift between the hours of 6:30am - 5:30pm PST, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday coverage as needed Preferred qualifications include previous experience using EPIC and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry. You must also have the ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure and live in a location that can receive a blithequark-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
