Experienced Data Entry Technician for Customs Brokerage Team – Remote Opportunity with blithequark

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a schedule of 15-20 hours per week, between Monday and Friday, 8AM-5PM. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Understand and identify customs documentation, including the ability to transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally, through effective communication and interpersonal skills Ensure compliance at all times to regulations, including daily execution of workflow and department metrics Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Associates or Bachelors Degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Growth mindset, with a desire to learn and develop your skills, and a passion for a career in supply chain/logistics Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, including the ability to understand and identify customs documentation Experience with operating systems and software applications, including data entry and tracking systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
