Job Overview We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to handle inbound telephone requests in our call center located in Mendota Heights, MN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering calls, gathering information, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls and follow scripted questions to gather information from callers Data enter information into a ticket format and identify work sites on a mapping system similar to Google Maps Communicate effectively and create positive relationships with excavators, peers, and management Process information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria Provide excellent customer service at all times and demonstrate an interest in public safety Work effectively and independently in a home or office environment Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or GED Ability to listen and problem solve effectively General computer skills Ability to adhere to a work schedule including having good attendance Ability to work as a team and be self-motivated and able to work independently Willingness to work overtime based upon the business needs of the call center Availability to work during operating hours of the call center Must pass a criminal background check Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Prior experience in customer service or a related field Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to accurately read digital maps Experience working in a call center environment Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and management Problem-solving skills: Ability to process information quickly and accurately and resolve issues in a timely manner Attention to detail: Ability to accurately data enter information and identify work sites on a mapping system Time management skills: Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
