Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and support to our clients, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative – Health Insurance Billing Resolution Specialist. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative – Health Insurance Billing Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), resolving patient medical billing inquiries, collecting payments, and assisting with patient inquiries regarding their medically billed charges. This is a high-volume position that requires a remote, quiet working environment and a friendly attitude. If you have a strong background in medical billing and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Responsibilities** * Review EOBs and resolve patient medical billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner * Collect payments from patients and assist with patient inquiries regarding their medically billed charges * Utilize electronic medical systems to access patient information and resolve billing inquiries * Provide exceptional customer service to patients and respond to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner * Meet daily quality and productivity quotas and participate in online team meetings and company Q&A forums * Maintain accurate time tracking and reporting * Read and follow up on denials and appeals * Work collaboratively with the team to resolve complex billing issues and improve customer satisfaction * Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices **Requirements** * 1 year of experience in medical billing and customer service * Strong understanding of electronic medical systems and medical billing procedures * Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills * Ability to work in a remote, quiet environment with minimal distractions * High-speed internet and a Windows-based personal computer (no Chromebooks) capable of running multiple systems and software programs * Personal phone and ability to navigate personal and remote desktop simultaneously * Attention to detail and accuracy is vital to being successful in this position * Ability to work Monday through Friday during Hawaii Standard Time * Friendliness is a must! * Ability to complete mandatory on-boarding training and meet daily quality and productivity quotas * High-speed internet required, internet speed check required after initial interview **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with multiple clients and electronic medical systems * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively with the team to resolve complex billing issues and improve customer satisfaction **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly rate of $18.50 per hour * Opportunity to work with a leading provider of innovative solutions in the healthcare industry * Flexible remote work arrangement with the ability to work from home * Ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices * Collaborative and supportive team environment * Opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the success of blithequark and our clients **How to Apply** If you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
