Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As the face of our customer, you will be responsible for crafting meaningful connections and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected. You will interact with our domestic and international customers in our lobbies and at gates, supporting them with ticketing and luggage, greeting customers as they begin and end their journey, and doing it all with a smile. Your goal will be to provide a friendly, professional, confident, and insightful service to help solve customer travel problems and make their experience memorable. Key Responsibilities Interact with customers in a kind and helpful manner to craft memorable experiences and build customer loyalty and commitment Step up and anticipate customer needs while maintaining a strong sense of responsibility, especially when we've inconvenienced a customer Work every day with a safety mentality by ensuring we keep ourselves and each other to the highest standards Navigate challenges by being consistent but adaptable, retaining composure, and managing issues without taking customer frustration personally Collaborate with others, assist your colleagues, and support them in achieving success with new processes and technologies Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Minimum of 18 years old Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies Physical ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift, as well as carry and handle luggage Able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet airport requirements for badging Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship Able to meet the company's attendance requirements and uniform and appearance standards Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the airline industry Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Knowledge of airline operations and procedures Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management Problem-solving skills: ability to analyze problems and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner Adaptability: ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Teamwork: ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals Time management: ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve results Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
