About the Role We're seeking an experienced Chat Customer Relations Agent to join our team of music enthusiasts. As a representative of blithequark, you'll play a vital role in helping fans of popular music artists resolve their queries and issues via ticketing, purchasing merchandise, password resets, website assistance, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Express genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues, addressing them as if they were your own Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products Identify high-risk customer situations and escalate them appropriately without hesitation Manage multiple chats simultaneously, maintaining a high level of efficiency and composure Accurately document all required information and chat details in the ticketing system Respond to and resolve open issues in an appropriate timeframe Identify trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers, escalating them to management as needed Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions Essential Qualifications A genuine love for music, particularly in the Pop and Country genres 1-3 years of call center chat experience Technical experience, with proficiency in Zendesk being a significant advantage Ability to type 30 words per minute with 90% accuracy or above consistently Strong messaging communication skills, active listening abilities, and excellent grammar Previous work-from-home experience preferred Understanding of contact center support metrics and the ability to implement actions for improvement High School Diploma or equivalent required Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the music industry or a related field Familiarity with text and chat acronyms, as well as the ability to use them effectively Experience with multiple systems and platforms, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies Hardware and Software Requirements To ensure seamless performance and security, you'll need to meet the following hardware and software requirements: Your own computer (laptop or desktop) with an Intel Core i5 5200 Series processor or greater (4 cores) 8GB of memory on Windows 10 or higher (64 bits) Screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors and a webcam USB headset Up-to-date antivirus software installed on the platform, with a recent scan completed Hardwired connection to a router, with the firewall enabled What We Offer As a Chat Customer Relations Agent at blithequark, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: Competitive hourly rate of $13.00 (1099 contract) Flexible scheduling, with three shift options to choose from (1st Shift: 4:00 am - 12:30 pm EST, 2nd Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm EST, 3rd Shift: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST) Opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic and supportive environment The freedom to work from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to create your own schedule Our Culture At blithequark, we're committed to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, creativity, and innovation.
