Content & Program Development Specialist

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Content and Program Developer to design, develop, and implement sales-related training programs for Pella salesforce. The training focus will be placed on Pella products, services, and sales related methodologies, knowledge and skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, project management, sales, and a positive team spirit. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and develop comprehensive sales training programs, including online self-paced learning modules, remote learning experiences via TEAMS, and face-to-face classroom instruction. • Create engaging and interactive content, that considers different adult learning theories including: • Learning videos • Online courses and modules • Classroom training materials • Develop and maintain core programs as part of the Pella Sales Academy. • Ensure high-quality content and timely project delivery. • Understand and interact with Pella Exchange provided by Allego learning management platform, ensuring: • Content is current and up to date • Understand and utilize the required features and functionality of the platform. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and vendors to ensure training programs align with business objectives. • Strong proficiency in project management, organizational skills and attention to detail. • Time frame awareness to allow timely completion of projects. REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field, preferred by not required. • Proven experience in instructional design, training development, and project management. • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems, and video production software. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE • Experience with the Allego learning platform or similar LMS highly desired. • Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models. (ADDIE) • Certification in instructional design or training development (e.g., CPTM, CTT+) • Has a sound foundation of the daily challenges of a salesperson. • Videography and Video Editing Skills using Camtasia or Adobe Pro. • Project Oversight managing and coordinating multiple content projects while delivering results timely and adhering to quality standards. • Performs other duties as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job does not have supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 5 years of experience in designing, developing and delivering quality learning programs for all levels of sales from new sales reps joining the company, up to and including sales management ranks. Has a proven track record to adapt to new technology and to be able to think outside the box. Understands where content development plays a crucial role in developing a successful Sales Academy. Has the ability to develop learning content that engages the learners in the material. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as Pella terminology, product related specifications and sales terminology. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
